Currys PC World is synonymous with hi tec so why not have a façade that is high tech as that is what we are synonymous for?
With a client requiring a modern façade, a single span insulated carrier panel system forms the primary weathering line of this façade and gave us the ‘blank canvas’ onto which to work. From there, all things are possible!
With over 300 different shaped panels forming a complex geometric grid façade with lighting strips and VDU display screens seamlessly nestled into the façade – a true sight in the daylight but one that really comes to life at night!
The woodgrain Trespa panelling to the soffit areas and the traditional zinc barrel vault and ‘tick’ slope complete the primary façade giving a more calmed side to the chaos of the aluminium panels.
The black flat granite returns give it a crisp clinical feel with a touch of class perfectly complimenting the large glass entrance porticos.
