The Project
We all love a refurb job! No? Well we do – especially when you can take something from the 70’s, give it a shake and come up with something truly stunning!
We were engaged by Joop Developments as the main contractor to design, supply, install and manage the over-cladding of the external facade. Originally a 1970’s concrete frame structure with a tiled faced, we commenced to strip this back to frame and infill, where required, to create the new facade. With sleek new, energy efficient windows (set in their own recessed pods) and a striking Portuguese stone rainscreen facaede to the lower levels, the effect sets it apart from the rest of the buildings around it.
On the upper floors & staircase zones we installed our CWCT Sequence B tested Prometheus ‘Discrete Fix’ Aluminium Cladding System to perfectly compliment the stone! A crisp, clean finish i’m sure you will agree?
The facade was completed and handed back to the client for them to undertake the internal fit our mid 2025.
