Another Premier Inn in our portfolio – this time in a new industrial park development next to Oxford Airport. Set in the idyllic Oxfordshire countryside we were given the challenge once again of providing a high thermal & acoustic façade and with all of our previous experience this was not an issue. We knew just what to do and how to do it!
A combination of Equitone board cladding and aluminium panels made for a ‘shades of grey’ façade perfectly complimented by a high-performance glazing system with integrated louvres. High quality detailing was overseen and signed off by a leading façade consultant without issue.
A feature entrance door and bar area welcome users into the building for another ‘Good Night’s Sleep’ – if it’s too good they could miss their flight?
Opened to the public early 2020 it no doubt suffered during the pandemic but will have had a new lease of life when we were all allowed out again as Oxford is a truly magnificent city to visit (as long as you park and ride!)
